This gallery represents a small sampling of my pottery made from 2000 through 2004.  At this time I no longer make pottery for retail sale. When making my artistic transition from pottery to jewelry I decided to maintain the website’s original name for the sake of simplicity.

About My Vases

Flower arranging has always been a joy of mine. On holidays and special occasions, it was a tradition in my household for we children to scatter through the yard collecting greenery for my mother's elaborate floral centerpieces.

My flower arranger vase is designed after and inspired by antique tools of the floral craft. Each vase is created with a lid (similar to what is called a "flower frog") that has holes cut out for the placement of stems. These devices hold up long stems and allow you to create full and beautiful arrangements without using very many flowers.

Each vase has its own lid with a unique fit. A "key" (a black dot) indicates which way the lid fits upon the vase. Your vase may be used with or without the lid, whatever use fills your desires.

Directions for Your New Handcrafted Flower Arranger
  • Note that the lid is "keyed" or marked with a black dot to indicate which way it fits onto the vase.
  • While the lid is on the vase, cut flowers and place into holes, using your personal touch to arrange the flowers.
  • Once the holes are filled to your satisfaction, you're done. The lid can now be removed, along with the flower arrangement, to change the water as needed.
  • I recommend hand-washing all vases to maximize their longevity.
