New Designs Jewelry Kathleen's handmade jewelry is now available for viewing on the website! Gossiping Hens  Gossiping Hens These sculptural vessels evolved through two different workshops in which I participated last summer. The forms are initially thrown, then altered, and finally I hand-build the rest of the "body." I find that hand-building gives me great room for suggesting the hens' physical expression and form. I imagine a room full of these little creatures entertaining themselves in a heated dialogue. Terracotta clay - cone 04 slips, sigilattas, and glazes. 28" heads are removable and function as bottle stoppers. $120.00 |
